    As a Group Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in their journey to success. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.     The Role 

    • Act as a trusted financial advisor to the senior leadership team, providing strategic recommendations and insights to drive financial performance and optimize business growth. 

    • Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. 

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and monitor financial budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support effective decision-making. 

    • Manage cash flow and treasury functions to ensure liquidity needs are met and develop strategies to optimize working capital efficiency. 

    • Interface with Private Equity partners, providing financial updates and insights on the business's performance, financial trends, and growth opportunities. 

    • Continuously review and enhance financial processes and internal controls to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. 

    • Lead and mentor a talented finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence. 

    Requirements 

    • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a strong academic background. 

    • Proven experience working within a PE-backed organization or serving PE clients in a financial leadership role. 

    • Knowledge or exposure to the Utilities sector is highly desirable, but not essential. 

    • Excellent numerical literacy and ability to interpret financial data, providing valuable insights to support decision-making. 

    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, translating financial data into actionable plans to drive business growth. 

    • Proven experience leading and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results. 

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels effectively.

    Finatal has partnered exclusively with a renowned, large-cap Private Equity fund to identify a Senior Interim Advisor to support with investment due diligence and value creation initiatives across the Semiconductor Manufacturing space. The Fund is expected to enter exclusivity over the coming weeks. The advisor will be crucial in defining how the business will be positioned in a competitive market undergoing rapid shifts. Excellent knowledge of market trends and industry expertise is therefore essential, with experience in C-suite or Board Advisory roles. 

    The Role:  

    • International Expansion 

      • Robust technical understanding of the industry and how to scale on an internationally with a focus across the US. 

    •  Market Trends 

      •  Strategic experience to position the business ahead of trends to cement market leadership and further understanding of challenges / opportunities.
