    Finatal is currently working with a leading provider of Service Improvement company that have had a recent Private Equity investment from a top mid-market fund. They are now going through fast growth due to its rapid acquisition strategy with a keen focus on ESG. They are looking for an entrepreneurial Head of IT Service Management to join them to build out this service management desk from scratch across 50+ entities. You will be responsible for the management of the operational services to meet business needs focusing on end-user support within the Microsoft 365 environment.

    Role:

    • You will have the responsibility of building the IT service desk from scratch across the whole business, for over 50 entities establishing a scalable platform.
    • Development of the IT roadmap and strategy interlinking with business strategy as well as ownership of the Group Budget.
    • You will build and lead a team of central service professionals centralising them to assist in the scalability of this new practice.
    • Managing the processes, infrastructure, and operational projects, defining standards and principles

    Requirement:

    • Strong experience in IT service management especially within a leadership role.
    • Track record of building and running an established IT service desk and processes for multiple entities
    • Experience in managing IT service management tools, such as incident management, problem management, change management, and service request management tools.
    • Strong skills in vendor relations and management.
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or related field.

    A PE backed software business on a significant buy and build programme requires their first integration lead. 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the integration playbook, acting in a hands-on capacity to drive activity across all workstreams, and will play a vital role in realising synergies and value, post-acquisition.

    To apply for this position you must speak English, plus an additional European language, ideally French or German.

    Duties to include:

    • Responsible for creating and developing a best-in-class integration team and capability.
    • Development of a group wide integration playbook / framework capable of seamlessly integrating 1 acquisition per month.
    • Work collaboratively with the M&A team to support on executing due diligence and to ensure integrations are front of mind at all stages of the M&A cycle.
    • Act as lead and drive all integration workstreams across the business – Finance, HR/People, I.T, Sales, etc.
    • Chair the integration SteerCo and all integration meetings.
    • Keep the Board (including the PE sponsor) up to date with all key integration activity.
    • Drive continual improvements to integration processes and systems to ensure they are fit for purpose for the expanding group.
