    The Business

    A leading PE backed digital platform/e-commerce business, seeking to hire the first full time M&A resource.

    Based in Amsterdam, you will play a key role in the continued Pan-European and US growth agenda for the business. 

    Dutch language skills are not required, but would be an advantage.

    The Role

    • Assist in building and developing the M&A function.
    • Assisting with the embedding of best-in-class M&A processes, systems, and controls.
    • Take the lead on the sourcing, analysis and execution of all bolt-on acquisitions.
    • Management of Commercial/Financial/Legal/Operational DD, pricing and valuation duties.
    • Prepare and review deal documents, term sheets, and transaction agreements.
    • Critical review of prospective targets to assess strategic fit, and to ensure comprehensive due diligence is undertaken.
    • Prepare detailed presentations summarising findings and recommending actionable steps to management.
    • Vendor management and acting as point of contact on all deals to vendors and key stakeholders.
    • 100-day planning/value creation work, prior to hand over to the integration function.
    • Providing both the senior management team and PE sponsors with regular data and updates on M&A activity.
    • Working with the C-suite to drive strategic growth initiatives.
    • Aid in the Private Equity exit process.

    The Candidate

    • Prior experience of running deals, ideally within the digital platform, tech-enabled, e-commerce, or business services sectors.
    • Prior mid-market or lower mid-market deals experience (founder run businesses/similar) highly desirable.
    • Prior experience from a Big 4 accounting firm within M&A, Transaction Services or Deal Advisory, is highly desirable.
    • Prior corporate development experience a distinct advantage, but is not essential.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is ideal.

    They are seeking a Real Estate Power BI Data Analyst to join their team and play a pivotal role in elevating their KPIs by translating real estate data into actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, analyse real estate data, and craft insightful reports and dashboards to guide our business strategies. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Collaborate with real estate stakeholders to understand their unique data needs and requirements, such as property performance, market trends, and occupancy rates. 

    • Acquire, cleanse, and transform real estate data from various sources to ensure data integrity, including property management software, financial reports, and market data. 

    • Design visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, focusing on key real estate metrics such as:

Your first task will be to design the PMI strategy as this is the first time they have had the need for this position.
